The Tooele Chemical Agent Disposal Facility is a 350,000 square foot facility custom designed to meet very strict regulations and guidelines. This facility required considerable amounts of planning, engineering and designing to make sure all the plants safety regulations and emissions requirements were met.
The biggest highlight of this facility are the sheer amounts of communications that are required to complete the chemical disposal process. The facility was equipped with thermal chemical stabilizers, neutralizing equipment and specific chemical decomposition holding tanks. Among the specific requirements the facility also houses management offices, conference and training rooms and a breakroom for the enjoyment of the employees.
